On September 20, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, left for a working visit to New York to take part in events marking the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The President of Uzbekistan will deliver an address on the first day of the General Debate of the UN General Assembly plenary session and will hold talks with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, as well as with the heads of several foreign states and governments, The Caspian Post reports citing Uzbek media.
On the sidelines of the summit, meetings are also planned with executives of leading international financial institutions, along with events involving major American companies and investment structures.
