Travel between Uzbekistan and Israel is set to become easier as Qanot Sharq Airlines has announced the resumption of regular passenger flights beginning June 24, 2026.
The Uzbek carrier will restart services on two key international routes: Tashkent-Tel Aviv-Tashkent and Samarkand-Tel Aviv-Samarkand, reconnecting the countries after a period of disruption, The Caspian Post reports via UzDaily.
According to the airline, the renewed flights are aimed at expanding travel opportunities for a wide range of passengers, including business travelers, tourists, and people visiting family and friends.
The restoration of air links is expected to strengthen economic, cultural, and tourism ties between Uzbekistan and Israel while providing travelers with more convenient and direct transportation options.
The return of the Tel Aviv routes also enhances international connectivity for Uzbekistan’s two major cities. Tashkent serves as the country's primary aviation hub, while Samarkand has rapidly emerged as a growing destination for both tourism and business travel.
With services restarting on June 24, passengers will once again have direct access between Uzbekistan and Israel, supporting tourism, commerce, and people-to-people connections between the two nations.
