Queen of Malaysia Raja Zarith Sofiah has arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit that blends diplomacy, education, and cultural engagement.

The Queen is visiting in her capacity as Honorary Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, underscoring the growing academic ties between the two countries, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

During her visit, she is expected to deliver a keynote address at the international conference titled “Scientific Tradition in Islamic Civilization: Sources, Current Issues and Potential”, hosted at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent.

Her program also includes a visit to the revered Imam al-Bukhari Memorial Complex in Samarkand, highlighting the cultural and spiritual dimension of the trip.
