An administrative case has been sent to court in Uzbekistan after a woman was accused of assaulting several first-grade pupils in a school in the Samarkand region.
The incident reportedly took place at School No. 53 in the Koshrabat district. The conflict began between children, but later escalated when the mother of one pupil intervened, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
The woman came to the school and, after a discussion with teachers and parents, entered a classroom where pupils were present. The situation escalated, and she reportedly struck several children in front of the class.
A teacher said parents had been invited to resolve the dispute, but the confrontation turned physical after the woman entered the classroom.
The accused woman acknowledged her actions and said she acted in anger, expressing regret over the incident.
Local police confirmed that administrative protocols were drawn up. The woman faces charges under Article 52 of the Administrative Responsibility Code for minor bodily harm, while parents of three minors were also fined under Article 47 for failing parental duties.
The case is now before the court for further proceedings in Uzbekistan.
