Starlink Set to Launch in Uzbekistan by 2026

Satellite internet service Starlink is expected to begin operations in Uzbekistan in 2026.

Elon Musk’s company, SpaceX, announced back in 2022 its readiness to implement major projects in the country, but the launch timeline has been postponed several times. Initially, the launch was planned for 2023, then shifted to 2025, The Caspian Post reports citing Uzbek media.

For comparison, Starlink began operating in Kazakhstan on 13 August 2025.

The service is also expected to launch in Kyrgyzstan in 2025. By 2026, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan are expected to join the list of countries with access to satellite internet.
