Uzbek PM Hails Kyrgyzstan’s Issyk-Kul as Future Global Tourism Hotspot

During his visit to Kyrgyzstan for the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting, Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov expressed deep admiration for Lake Issyk-Kul, calling it a natural gem poised to become an international tourism hotspot.

In a rare emotional statement for a public official, Aripov spoke not as a statesman, but as someone genuinely moved by the scenic beauty and atmosphere of Issyk-Kul, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

“This is a true gift of nature,” he said, reflecting on his first visit to the lake just four years ago. Since then, he noted, the resort area has flourished with new developments, upgraded facilities, and vibrant construction-all carried out with heartfelt care rather than formality.

Aripov emphasized that Issyk-Kul has all the ingredients to evolve into a global destination: pristine waters, majestic mountains, fresh air, and most importantly, the authentic warmth and hospitality of the local people.

“Issyk-Kul will soon be recognized worldwide,” he added, expressing confidence in the lake’s potential to draw visitors from across the globe.
