Uzbek, Turkmen FMs Discuss Boosting Bilateral Cooperation

Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov has had a phone talk with Turkmen Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov to discuss a wide range of bilateral issues, with particular emphasis on strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The sides also considered ways to identify new areas for cooperation and reviewed ongoing preparations for upcoming regional and international events, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

"In recent years, relations between our two countries have reached an unprecedented level," said Saidov. "Even greater opportunities are emerging for the benefit of our peoples."
