On October 19, Laziz Kudratov, Uzbekistan's Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, met with Mahendra R. Nair, Vice President of Global Commercial Sales at GE Aerospace, in Samarkand.

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the training and professional development of aviation specialists, taking into account the growing demand for qualified personnel in the industry, The Caspian Post reports, citing the ministry.

Following the meeting, the sides agreed to jointly develop educational programs aimed at training aviation industry specialists and improving their professional qualifications.
