Uzbek Youth Taekwondo Team Strikes Gold at Asian Championships in Malaysia

Uzbekistan’s youth taekwondo team has delivered an impressive performance at the Asian Junior Taekwondo Championships (WT), held in Kuching, Malaysia.

One of the highlights of the tournament was the outstanding performance of Omadbek Otabekov, who claimed the gold medal in the under-59 kg weight category, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.

Demonstrating exceptional skill and dominance on the second day of the competition, Otabekov triumphed over all his rivals and was named the "Best Male Athlete of the Championship" in the youth division.

Uzbekistan concluded the youth competition with a total of three medals: one gold, one silver, and one bronze, marking a strong showing on the continental stage.
