Uzbek citizens will soon have new opportunities to work in the Czech Republic's healthcare sector after Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic signed a series of agreements aimed at expanding organized labor migration and workforce development.

A delegation from Uzbekistan's Migration Agency, led by Director Bekhzod Musaev, visited the Czech Republic to strengthen cooperation on labor migration, vocational training, and employment, The Caspian Post reports via UzDaily.

One of the key outcomes of the visit was the signing of a memorandum of understanding following talks with Czech Health Minister Adam Vojtěch. The agreement provides for the creation of a joint working group and the launch of a pilot project to train and employ Uzbek citizens in Czech medical and social care institutions.

During a meeting with Radek Jakubský, Vice President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce, both sides agreed to establish regular exchanges of labor market information and develop joint projects to facilitate the organized employment of Uzbek professionals.

The Uzbek delegation also held talks with several Czech companies to expand employment opportunities. Discussions with MONTO, s.r.o. focused on recruiting specialists for the industrial sector, while TOPSEARCH, s.r.o. explored opportunities for healthcare workers. In addition, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with Penta Hospitals International to support the training and employment of Uzbek medical personnel.
