Uzbekistan Achieves 9.4% Increase in Fish Catch During First Half of 2025

In the first half of 2025, Uzbekistan recorded a fish catch of 53,200 tons, reflecting a 9.4 per cent increase compared to the same period in the previous year.

The total catch was distributed among various sectors, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Farming enterprises contributed 27,100 tons, smallholder and household farms produced 3,000 tons, and agricultural organizations accounted for 23,100 tons.
