Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan Sign MoU to Boost Fintech, Markets

Uzbekistan’s National Agency of Perspective Projects and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at deepening cooperation in capital markets, insurance, and crypto-asset regulation.

The MoU seeks to create a long-term platform for collaboration, promoting the exchange of expertise and information. It covers organizing international events, seminars, forums, trainings, online meetings, short-term study visits, joint research projects, and sharing legislative and statistical data in relevant sectors, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbekistan’s National Agency of Perspective Projects.

Special focus will be placed on developing innovative financial technologies, enhancing financial inclusion and operational efficiency, and sharing best practices in fintech regulation.

The agreement also emphasizes joint training programs and knowledge exchange to strengthen specialist skills in digital financial services.
