Uzbekistan Becomes Hub for International Transport and Aviation Talks

Tashkent has officially opened the International Transport Forum, alongside the aviation forum and TransLogistica Uzbekistan 2025 exhibition.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, the Organization of Turkic States, and the Alliance of Logistics Centers and Freight Carriers, aiming to promote constructive dialogue, knowledge exchange, and joint initiatives for the development of multimodal transport routes, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

In his opening speech, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Transport Ilhom Mahkamov highlighted that the forum brings together government officials, international organizations, business leaders, and top experts to discuss key issues in transport and logistics system development, strengthen regional connectivity, and expand international partnerships.

“Since joining the International Transport Forum in 2020, Uzbekistan has actively supported its strategic goal of uniting states and partners to shape transport policies that promote sustainable growth and regional integration,” Mahkamov emphasized.

As part of the forum, the 4th High-Level Dialogue for Asian Countries is being held. The representatives from ministries and agencies of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, as well as representatives from international organizations attended the event, further reinforcing regional cooperation in transport and logistics.
