Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, has concluded a two-day working visit to Bulgaria aimed at strengthening bilateral economic and industrial cooperation.
During the visit, Kudratov held a series of high-level meetings, including talks with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Grozdan Karadjov, senior officials from relevant ministries, and leaders from major Bulgarian businesses and financial institutions, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
The discussions focused on implementing agreements reached during President Radev’s June 2025 visit to Tashkent. Both sides emphasized their commitment to launching joint projects across priority sectors such as geological exploration, logistics, construction, energy, digitalization, environmental sustainability, and agriculture.
Special attention was given to transport connectivity and industrial collaboration, with both nations agreeing to advance these areas through the sixth session of the Uzbekistan-Bulgaria Intergovernmental Commission and an accompanying business forum, scheduled for October 2025 in Tashkent.
The initiatives discussed will be formalized in a joint roadmap and placed under continuous bilateral monitoring to ensure their effective and timely execution, signaling a new chapter in Uzbekistan-Bulgaria economic relations.
