Uzbekistan, China Explore New Collaboration Opportunities

The representatives from Uzbekistan’s Energy Ministry have met with officials from Chinese company Shanghai LinkWise Data Intelligence Co., Ltd. to discuss current and future projects in Uzbekistan’s energy sector.

The meeting culminated in the signing of a memorandum of understanding to build a 300-megawatt data center in the Bukhara region, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.

Plans are also underway to develop a similar facility in the Surkhandarya region.

Both parties committed to expediting preparations to ensure the project’s timely and efficient launch, adhering to the terms of the signed agreement.
