Uzbekistan, Egypt Discuss Beverage Industry Collaboration in Key Cairo Meeting

A high-level meeting has been held in Cairo between executives of the Egyptian beverage company Blanco-Tahir Battikh and Kinan Dadihi-and business representatives from Uzbekistan and Egypt.

The talks centered on the possibility of setting up production of import-substituting non-alcoholic beverages in Uzbekistan. The finished products are planned to be exported to markets across Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, expanding the reach of both countries' businesses, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

Blanco, a leading name in Egypt’s non-alcoholic drink market, is known for its barley- and fruit-based beverages. The company’s products are widely available through major retail chains, online platforms, and are actively promoted on social media.

This collaboration offers Blanco a strategic opportunity to enter new international markets, while providing Uzbekistan with a chance to develop its domestic manufacturing capabilities and increase exports.

Following the successful discussions, Egyptian entrepreneurs confirmed their participation in the upcoming Uzbek Import Fair 2025, which will be held in Tashkent from October 7 to 9.
