Uzbekistan Hosts Official Welcoming Ceremony for Slovak Prime Minister

On June 9, an official welcoming ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy residence for Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, who is currently on an official visit to Uzbekistan.

A guard of honor was lined up on the square in front of the residence. The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, warmly greeted the distinguished guest and invited him onto the podium, The Caspian Post reports citing UzA.

A military orchestra performed the national anthems of Uzbekistan and Slovakia. The leaders walked along the guard of honor and greeted members of the official delegations.

Following the ceremony and a joint photo session, high-level negotiations began.
