Uzbekistan, Hungary Map Out New Cooperation Plans for 2026

Uzbek Deputy Foreign Minister Muzaffar Madrahimov has met with Hungarian Ambassador József Rózsa to review the current state of bilateral ties and outline future steps to strengthen cooperation.

The talks focused on the current state and future prospects of partnership across political, trade and economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening ties and ensuring their cooperation delivers real, practical results.

The meeting concluded with agreements to launch a series of joint initiatives in 2026 - including political consultations between the foreign ministries, upcoming sessions of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation and the Business Council, as well as regional forums and university rectors’ forums aimed at expanding academic and regional partnerships.
