Uzbekistan, Italy, China Strengthen Education Cooperation

Representatives from the Tashkent branch of the University of Pisa and Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex have met at China’s University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) to discuss expanding academic cooperation.

According to the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, discussions focused on introducing advanced educational technologies, launching joint academic programs, and developing professional training for teaching staff, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

A key outcome of the meeting is the launch of a joint “1+3” educational program in International Trade and Business Management. Under the program, students will complete their first year at the Tashkent branch of the University of Pisa and spend the following three years at UIBE, gaining both academic knowledge and practical experience.

This initiative aims to strengthen educational ties among Uzbekistan, Italy, and China, providing students with enhanced international learning opportunities and exposure to global business practices.
