Uzbekistan, Romania Set to Ink Intergovernmental Agreement on Labor Migration

Uzbekistan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Olim Abduallayev held talks with Romanian Ambassador Daniel Cristian Ciobanu to discuss bilateral cooperation in the field of labor migration.

According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the discussions focused on the signing of an intergovernmental agreement, measures to combat illegal migration, and the organization of consular consultations, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kun.uz.

Both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in continuing a systematic dialogue and agreed to implement joint measures to strengthen cooperation.
