Uzbekistan, Romania Step Up Diplomatic and Economic Cooperation

Uzbek Deputy Foreign Minister Muzaffar Madrahimov has held talks with Daniel Cristian Ciobanu, Romania’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, as both sides reviewed the latest developments in their growing partnership.

During the meeting, the officials discussed strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation, and deepening their multifaceted bilateral ties. Special attention was given to planning joint initiatives for 2026, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

By the end of the talks, both sides agreed to maintain an active pace of engagement across all areas. They also confirmed plans to continue political and consular consultations, as well as convene meetings of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Joint Commission on International Road Transport.
