The Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis hosted an event to mark the signing of a renewed Memorandum of Understanding between the Parliamentary Research Institute of Uzbekistan and the National Assembly Research Service of the Republic of Korea (NARS).
Akrom Tashpulatov, Director of the Parliamentary Research Institute, noted the expansion of multifaceted and mutually beneficial ties between the two countries, as well as reaching a new level of cooperation within the framework of parliamentary diplomacy, The Caspian Post reports citing UzA.
During the meeting, Chief of the National Assembly Research Service of Korea Lee Kwan-Hu highly appreciated the historical reforms carried out in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and their results.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed at the event, aimed at sharing experiences and strengthening cooperation.
The document provides for the holding of bilateral scientific-practical conferences, the implementation of joint research projects, the exchange of experience in scientific support for parliamentary activities, as well as the strengthening of regular dialogue between specialists.
