Uzbekistan has inaugurated a new hotel complex on more than eight hectares near the New Uzbekistan Park in Tashkent, signaling a major step in the country’s tourism development.
The project was reviewed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who highlighted its potential to enhance local welfare and attract visitors, The Caspian Post informs per Uzbek media.
The complex includes 12 hotels named after Karakalpakstan and Uzbekistan’s regions, a conference hall for 375 guests, a restaurant for 310, a wellness center, and outdoor sports facilities. Each five-story, three-star hotel offers 62 rooms, with management by international companies including Leo Hospitality Solutions, Radisson Individuals, and Trademark Collection by Wyndham.
The project has generated 540 new jobs and is expected to accommodate up to 55,000 tourists annually, while improving surrounding infrastructure. President Mirziyoyev stressed the importance of expanding services, improving quality, and developing multifunctional hotel facilities across all regions.
