Uzbekistan Weaves Success with $10.8 Million Carpet Exports in First Half of 2025

Uzbekistan exported a total of 3.6 million square meters of carpets in the first half of 2025, generating revenues of approximately $10.8 million.

The Kyrgyz Republic emerged as the top destination, importing over 1.086 million square meters, followed by Azerbaijan with 969,000 square meters, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Other key markets included Afghanistan (725,000 sq. m), Russia (429,000 sq. m), and Kazakhstan (334,000 sq. m).

Combined exports to other countries accounted for an additional 61,000 square meters, underscoring the global reach of Uzbekistan’s carpet industry.
