Uzbekneftegaz has increased its motor gasoline stocks at oil depots by 2.5 times compared with the same period last year, while its own filling station network has sufficient fuel reserves for the upcoming winter season, Abrorjon Khudoyberganov, Deputy Chairman of Uzbekneftegaz for Processing, announced at a press conference.
According to Khudoyberganov, the company has significantly expanded its filling station network since the beginning of 2026. The number of stations has grown from 31 at the start of the year to 152 currently. Over the same period, sales of petroleum products increased five- to six-fold, The Caspian Post reports, citing UzDaily.
Uzbekneftegaz filling stations offer AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline, as well as several types of diesel fuel, including products that meet Euro-4 and Euro-6 standards.
Khudoyberganov said gasoline and diesel would be available at all Uzbekneftegaz filling stations across the country's regions. He also noted that gasoline prices at the company's stations had remained below 12,000 soums per litre over the past nine to ten months.
Company representatives clarified that these assurances apply exclusively to Uzbekneftegaz's own filling station network and do not cover the entire domestic fuel market.
They pointed out that other major suppliers and private companies also operate in the sector. Accordingly, guarantees of uninterrupted fuel supplies and the absence of queues apply only to stations within Uzbekneftegaz's network.
The expansion is being carried out partly through the restoration and modernisation of previously operating filling stations in various regions, including remote areas.
The work involves reconstructing facilities, replacing outdated fuel dispensers and installing equipment to improve the accuracy of fuel accounting.
According to the company, approximately 90 new fuel dispensers have been installed across its filling station network. In Tashkent and the surrounding region, 10 stations have been upgraded with new measurement and remote monitoring systems.
Filling station operations are supervised through Uzbekneftegaz's situation centre, which enables specialists to monitor fuel stocks, sales volumes and prices at individual stations. Company employees also conduct inspections to verify the accuracy of fuel dispensing at both oil depots and filling stations.
In January-September 2026, Uzbekneftegaz produced 773,500 tonnes of motor gasoline, reaching 100.2% of its production target.
