In the first two months of 2026, Egypt welcomed 8,890 visitors from Uzbekistan.

The figure represents a slight decrease of 2,200 travelers compared to the same period last year, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Most trips were for tourism, with 8,463 people traveling for leisure. Some 424 people visited relatives, two went for education, and one traveled for medical treatment.

Despite the small decline, Egypt remains a top international destination for Uzbeks, attracting thousands with its rich history, culture, and attractions.
