Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has inspected the facilities and equipment at the Margara border crossing on the country’s border with Türkiye.

Several heads of Armenia’s diplomatic missions accredited abroad also accompanied Mirzoyan during the visit, according to Sputnik Armenia.

During the inspection, State Revenue Committee Chairman Eduard Hakobyan presented the results of renovation and equipment upgrades at the crossing. He said the Margara checkpoint is now fully ready for operation.

The inspection comes as Armenia continues preparations to improve infrastructure at the border crossing.
