A physical altercation broke out in the Armenian parliament between members of the ruling Civil Contract faction and the opposition Armenia bloc, according to Armenian media.
The clash involved MPs Gegham Manukyan and Vahe Ghalumyan, The Caspian Post reports citing Report.
The dispute stemmed from the Armenia faction's statement about a proposed bill that seeks to criminalize the denial of the so-called "Armenian genocide."
In response, Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan ordered the live broadcast to be halted, prompting law enforcement officers to intervene.
