Estonia will open an embassy in Armenia in 2026, Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna told Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a phone conversation.
Minister Mirzoyan expressed his satisfaction with this important decision, emphasizing that "it reflects the strong partnership formed between the two countries and their mutual interest in further deepening cooperation'', The Caspian Post reports, citing Armenian media.
The sides discussed bilateral issues, as well as specific programs aimed at advancing the ambitious Armenia-EU agenda.
They also exchanged views on upcoming activities, including cooperation in combating hybrid threats.
In the context of regional development, they discussed the opportunities expected to emerge from the implementation of the TRIPP project.
