Fertilizers and Buckwheat to Reach Armenia via Azerbaijan

Four wagons of fertilizers and one wagon of buckwheat will be sent to Armenia, transiting through Azerbaijan.

The shipments are scheduled to pass through Azerbaijan on March 24, marking a key logistical operation for Armenia’s agricultural and food supply chain, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

Earlier, grain shipments from Kazakhstan to Armenia officially commenced, traveling through Azerbaijan.

Some 15 railcars loaded with wheat from Kazakhstan crossed the Russia-Azerbaijan border and proceeded along the Azerbaijani route.

The transit came after Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced during his visit to Kazakhstan on October 21, 2025 that previous restrictions on cargo transiting through Azerbaijan to Armenia had been lifted, enabling smoother regional trade and fostering stronger economic connectivity.
