Travelers can now take a direct bus from Moscow to Yerevan, following the launch of a new international route from the Krasnogvardeysky International Bus Terminal.

The announcement was made by Moscow Deputy Mayor Maksim Liksutov, who said the new service expands the capital's growing network of long-distance and international bus connections, The Caspian Post reports via TASS.

"Today, more than 170 intercity and international routes operate from Moscow's bus terminals. Krasnogvardeysky is one of the key transport hubs in the south of the city, and passengers can now travel directly from there to the capital of Armenia," Liksutov said.

The Moscow-Yerevan service will operate once a week, with departures scheduled every Thursday.

Passengers can purchase tickets online through the Moscow Metro mobile app via the "Intercity Buses" section.
