On the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to discuss Türkiye-Armenia relations amid ongoing efforts to secure lasting stability and peace in the South Caucasus.

President Erdoğan expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, emphasizing that Türkiye remains committed to promoting peace, stability, and development in the region and will continue contributing actively to the process, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

He also welcomed the recent steps aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation between Türkiye and Armenia, underlining the importance of continued constructive engagement.
