On August 26, the 6th International Conference on Problems of Cybernetics and Informatics (PCI 2025) began at the Institute of Control Systems of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The objective of the conference is to engage in discussions the latest scientific achievements in the fields of artificial intelligence, control systems, signal processing, optimization and image recognition, as well as to present advanced research and enhance international collaboration, The Caspian Post reports citing local media.
The hybrid conference brought together leading scientists more than 30 countries, including Türkiye, the U.S., Poland, France, Belgium, Georgia, Germany, Australia, Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Japan, and other countries.
Academician Ali Abbasov, Director General of the Institute of Control Systems of Azerbaijan; Academician Rasim Alguliyev, Vice-President of ANAS and Director General of the Institute of Information Technology; Eminagha Sadigov, Deputy Director of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education and Acting Rector of Sumgayit State University; Boris Mordukhovich from Wayne State University (U.S.); Professor Mamyrbayev Orken Zhumazhanovich, Deputy Director-General of the Institute of Information and Computational Technologies of Kazakhstan and others also are participating at the event.
