Azerbaijan and Greece Sign Tourism Action Plan for 2026–2028

Azerbaijan and Greece have signed a Joint Action Plan on Tourism for 2026-2028 aimed at strengthening cooperation in the tourism sector and broader economic ties.

“The signing of the Joint Action Plan on Tourism for 2026-2028, along with the agreements reached, will contribute to further strengthening our economic partnership,” Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov announced the agreement in a post on X.

Shahbazov and Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Harry Theoharis co-chaired the sixth meeting of the Azerbaijan-Greece Intergovernmental Commission in Athens.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation across various areas and advance new projects and initiatives.

The tourism agreement forms part of broader efforts by Azerbaijan and Greece to deepen economic ties and develop new areas of bilateral cooperation.
