Azerbaijan Ratifies Legal Assistance Treaty With Ukraine

Azerbaijan has officially ratified a bilateral treaty with Ukraine on legal assistance in civil and commercial matters, marking a new step in strengthening judicial cooperation between the two countries.

The draft law approving the Agreement between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ukraine on Legal Assistance in Civil and Commercial Matters was adopted during an extraordinary session of the Milli Majlis, Azerbaijan's parliament, The Caspian Post reports via Report.

The agreement was originally signed on April 25, 2026, in the city of Gabala and is designed to enhance cooperation in resolving cross-border civil and commercial legal issues.

Following parliamentary discussions, lawmakers approved the treaty in a single reading, paving the way for its implementation and reinforcing the legal framework governing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
