Azerbaijan’s Azeri Light Oil Price Rises Above $108 per Barrel

The price of Azerbaijan’s flagship Azeri Light crude has continued to rise on the global market, gaining $0.87, or 0.81%, to $108.18 per barrel.

Azeri Light crude sold at Azerbaijan’s Ceyhan terminal in Türkiye under FOB (BTC FOB) terms also increased. Its price climbed by $0.76, or 0.73%, reaching $104.23 per barrel, according to Report.

The latest price remains well above the benchmark used by Azerbaijan when preparing its state budget. The 2026 state budget assumes an oil price of $65 per barrel, putting the current Azeri Light price more than $40 above the budgeted level.

Azeri Light has experienced significant price swings over the years. Its record low of $15.81 per barrel was registered on April 21, 2020, while the record high of $149.66 was reached in July 2008.
