Turkish Airlines Lands Major Liverpool Shirt Sponsorship Deal

Turkish Airlines will become Liverpool’s main club partner and front-of-shirt sponsor starting with the 2027-28 season, the Premier League club announced Tuesday.

Under the agreement, which begins in June 2027, Turkish Airlines will partner with Liverpool as the club’s primary commercial partner, The Caspian Post reports, citing Anadolu Agency.

The airline’s branding will feature on the front of the men’s, women’s and Academy match shirts.

The five-year deal is reportedly worth more than £300 million ($405 million), amounting to over £60 million per season.

Liverpool Chief Commercial Officer Ben Latty welcomed the agreement, describing the front of the club’s shirt as an important part of its history and highlighting Turkish Airlines’ global reach.

He also referenced Liverpool’s memorable 2005 UEFA Champions League final victory over AC Milan in Istanbul, which he said provided a strong foundation for the new partnership.

Turkish Airlines CEO Ahmet Olmustur said Liverpool’s global reputation, history and worldwide fan base made the club an ideal partner. He added that the airline was pleased to have its name featured on one of football’s most iconic shirts.

Standard Chartered, Liverpool’s main club partner since 2010, will remain in that position through the 2026-27 season before transitioning to a global partnership role in the following year.
