Uzbekistan secured a 3-1 victory over Iran in a friendly football match.

Eldor Shomurodov put Uzbekistan in front in the 10th minute, taking advantage of an error by an Iranian player, The Caspian Post reports.

Iran drew level in the 49th minute after a free kick.

Shomurodov restored Uzbekistan’s advantage in the 58th minute, converting a penalty to make it 2-1.

Husayn Norchaev completed the scoring in the fourth minute of stoppage time, finding the net in the 90+4th minute for a 3-1 final score.

Uzbekistan’s next friendly is scheduled for October 1 in Tashkent against Syria.
