The Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Azerbaijan Republic (AZPROMO) has announced that Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports exceeded $2 billion during January-July 2025, representing an 11 per cent increase compared to the same period last year.
In July, non-oil exports rose by 20 per cent year-on-year, reaching over $333.9 million, The Caspian Post informs, citing local media.
Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports are a key component of the country’s economic diversification strategy, aimed at reducing dependence on oil and gas revenues. The sector includes products such as agricultural goods, chemicals, machinery, textiles, food products, and processed raw materials.
Over the past decade, the government has implemented policies and initiatives to promote non-oil exports, including supporting domestic producers, improving logistics and trade infrastructure, and expanding international markets.
