The third World Cultures Festival has been opened at the ATO Congresium Convention and Exhibition Center in Ankara, Türkiye, with officials from various countries, diplomatic corps, and cultural centers participating.
The Azerbaijan Cultural Center presented a national stand featuring Azerbaijani carpets, souvenirs, kelagayi (traditional silk scarves), and other cultural artifacts, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
The festival also featured a performance by the “Zangezur” dance ensemble, showcasing traditional Azerbaijani folk dances.
The event included dance and music performances from multiple countries, national costume parades, art and culinary workshops, film screenings, and various competitions.
Serap Gürkan Firdevsi, head of “Sirus” Foundation, noted that among participants from 63 countries, Azerbaijani dances attracted the most interest, adding, “We admire Azerbaijani music and dances.”
