Azerbaijan's national wrestling team delivered an impressive performance at the U-20 World Wrestling Championship, securing third place overall.

The team shone in Greco-Roman wrestling, amassing 90 points and earning multiple medals, The Caspian Post informs via local media.

This marks Azerbaijan’s strongest showing in the past three years, considering medal count, quality, total points, and team ranking.

Standout athletes included Aykhan Javadov, who captured gold in the 60-kg category, Turan Dashdemirov, who took silver in the 55-kg category, and Faraim Mustafayev, who earned bronze in the 67-kg category.
