Azerbaijan, Türrkiye Praise Strong Interparliamentary Relations

Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş called made a phone call to Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova to extend his congratulations on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

Kurtulmuş conveyed his wishes for peace, tranquillity, and blessings to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan and the entire Muslim world, The Caspian Post reports, citing the Milli Majlis.

During the call, the two speakers also discussed bilateral relations, including parliamentary cooperation, and praised the strong ties between the legislative bodies both at the bilateral level and within international parliamentary organizations.
