Azerbaijan, Uganda Explore New Agricultural Partnership

The Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry has announced that Azerbaijan and Uganda explored opportunities for cooperation in the agricultural sector.

Azerbaijani Deputy Minister Ilhama Gadimova met with a Ugandan delegation led by State Minister of Foreign Affairs John Mulimba, The Caspian Post reports via the ministry.

“During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for collaboration between Azerbaijan and Uganda in agriculture, the exchange of information on high-export-potential products, increasing trade in agricultural and food products, expanding ties between entrepreneurs, and other related issues,” the ministry said in a statement.

Mulimba highlighted that Uganda is a friendly country for Azerbaijan and expressed interest in expanding partnerships across various sectors. He also noted the high potential for deepening agricultural cooperation between the two countries.

Both sides expressed mutual readiness to further strengthen agrarian collaboration.
