Azerbaijani Teen Racer Triumphs at International Karting Tournament in Portugal

Azerbaijani karting driver Davin Jafarov has claimed victory at the Easykart Portugal Trophy, an international karting tournament held in Palmela, Portugal.

The 15-year-old athlete secured first place in the TaG Livre 125 category, earning 140 points on the Kartodromo Internacional de Palmela circuit, which spans 1,270 meters in length and 10 meters in width, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

The competition featured participants from France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Angola, and South Africa.

Jafarov is also set to compete in the World Grand Final in the X30 category, scheduled to take place this October in Italy. He will represent Portugal at the continental championship as part of the Birel Art team.

Already a multiple winner and prize-winner of various international karting tournaments, Jafarov has received an invitation to take part in Formula 4 racing in Germany.
