Baku Becomes Hub for Black Sea Trade and Development Bank’s Annual Governors Meeting

Azerbaijan has opened the 28th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) in Baku, bringing together regional leaders to discuss the bank's future, economic cooperation, and new investment opportunities.

The two-day meeting, chaired by Azerbaijan, will review the bank's performance, approve its 2025 financial statements, and outline strategic priorities for the institution's future development and governance, The Caspian Post reports via APA.

A key highlight of the event is a business forum titled "Connecting Markets, Diversifying Economies: Azerbaijan as a Regional Hub." The forum will focus on Azerbaijan's economic development strategy, strengthening regional cooperation, and the country's growing role as a gateway for trade and investment.

Participants will also discuss BSTDB-financed projects in Azerbaijan, emerging trends in development finance, and the challenges facing regional economic growth.

The event features plenary sessions, expert presentations, and business-to-business (B2B) meetings, providing a platform for government officials, financial institutions, and private-sector leaders to explore new partnerships and investment opportunities.
