Members of Two Russian Organized Crime Groups Stand Trial in Azerbaijan

Members of two organized crime groups, consisting of Russian nationals, appeared before Baku's Sabail District Court in Azerbaijan.

They are accused of orchestrating the transit of narcotics from Iran, distributing them online, and engaging in cyber fraud, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.

The court, led by Judge Ulviyya Shukurova, is currently reviewing a request from investigative authorities to impose pre-trial detention on eight of the suspects.
