New photos from Ukraine's capital Kyiv reveal the scale of destruction caused by overnight Russian missile strikes near the Azerbaijani Embassy, where windows were shattered by powerful explosions.

The attacks heavily damaged civilian infrastructure in the surrounding area, with the Lukyanovka market and the Kvadrat shopping center reportedly destroyed. Residential buildings nearby also sustained significant damage, The Caspian Post reports via Azertac.

According to Azertac’s special correspondent, at least two people were killed and more than 40 others injured in the strikes. Emergency officials warned that the number of casualties could increase as rescue workers continue clearing debris from the affected sites.
