The second black box from the Azerbaijan Airlines plane that crashed in Kazakhstan has been recovered.
This announcement was made by Abylaibek Ordabayev, the transport prosecutor of Kazakhstan’s Mangistau region, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.
Two flight recorders retrieved are to be handed over to the air accident investigation division, which are to be viewed afterwards, said Ordabayev.
He went on to add that the crash survivors and ground service workers were questioned.
"We’re looking for witnesses. The audio of radio chatter between the dispatcher and the crew via radio was collected. The inspection of the accident site of over 4,000 sq.km. nears completion. The police ramp up efforts to ensure security," said Ordabayev.
Earlier it was reported that the bodies of 10 deceased people out of 38 have been so far identified.
38 died and 29 survived as Baku-Grozny flight J2-8243 operated by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan, on December 25.
