The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), through its subsidiary SOCAR Georgia Petroleum, has launched a new initiative called “Work and Study” to support students in Georgia.

The program allows participants to combine part-time work at the company’s gas stations with their studies, The Caspian Post reports via the company's message on Facebook.

Students will take roles as operators and senior operators, gaining hands-on professional experience while receiving financial support to cover their tuition fees.

Officials highlighted that the initiative aims to foster both professional and personal development, boost student motivation, and strengthen corporate culture as part of SOCAR’s social responsibility efforts.
