"Unity-2025" Joint Military Drills Strengthen Ties Among Five Central Asian Nations in Samarkand

The "Unity-2025" (Birlik-2025) joint regional military exercise is currently taking place in Uzbekistan's Samarkand region, bringing together servicemen from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

The multi-stage exercise, organized in three phases, is designed to strengthen the protection and defense of state borders. It also focuses on the detection, containment, and elimination of illegal armed formations operating in the region, The Caspian Post informs via the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

A central goal of "Unity-2025" is to enhance coordination and interoperability among the participating military forces. The drills aim to develop and refine the capabilities and skills necessary for conducting efficient and effective joint operations.
